The Mill Dam Lake Resort, located in Silver Springs
Florida, is a premier, well-established Mobile Home, RV and Vacation
Cabin resort with a multitude of amenities, on a large, beautiful,
pristine spring-fed lake in the Ocala National Forest. In fact,
Mill Dam Lake Resort is the only development on the lake; the rest
of the shoreline displays a great deal of forest.
Lakefront vacation rental cabins, RV spaces, a convenience store, deli with all food freshly cooked each day, a gas station with quality fuel at low prices, an onsite restaurant, public laundromat, plus mobile home lots and used homes for sale complete the picture.
The whole property is being refurbished by the new owners and provides a beautiful, relaxing, friendly atmosphere, with opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, bicycling, hiking, horseback riding and off-road trailing on the many designated tracks and trails adjacent to the park. There are also areas where you can just sit and view the wonders of nature, or even just watch the world go by! The one-bedroom rental cabins are right on the lakefront and sleep up to 4 persons. Each cabin has its own waterfront deck with barbecue facility. There is also a waterside pavilion, for the rv travelers, campers and cabin guests who like to wile the hours away, just gazing, meditating on a thousand precious memories. We also have for sale a number of used mobile homes of various shapes and sizes at prices to suit all pockets. Included here are vacant RV, park model or mobile home lots. Bring your own home for permanent or seasonal use. And, yes, there's golfing available nearby.
Residents have their own club house, etc., and a social director arranges events, trips and vacations during the year for those who are interested. Paved and well-lit streets, regular patrols for security and a neighborhood watch scheme, together with a high level of maintenance and the picturesque setting make Mill Dam Lake Resort your ideal permanent and wintering location. Local attractions, etc., such as Wild Waters Waterpark and Silver Springs (Nature's Theme ParK), are located on Highway 40 E, and easily accessible from Interstate 75 or Interstate 95.
